Hauliers fined in Barcelona
06 May 2008
Road haulage organisations Transcont and ALTC have been issued with fines of €7.3m ($11.6m) and €7.6m ($12.1m) respectively by Spain's competition authority for restrictive practices involving operations in the container terminals at the port of Barcelona.
The hauliers are accused of deliberately preventing other competitors from entering the market by operating a cartel.
