Kalmar opens Asian training centre . . .

Kalmar Industries has opened a training centre in Shekou, Shenzhen to provide customers in Asia with professional support to operate its port equipment. The purpose-built facility will enable operational staff from ports and terminals in the region to have access to hands-on training from Kalmar's engineers and training staff.
"The Kalmar Training Centre is part of our strategy of providing continuous learning which we would like to extend to our customers. With the advances in technology there is a need for frontline terminal staff to continue to learn about the best way to operate the equipment." says Ken Loh, President, Kalmar Asian Operations.
