Royal Haskoning to carry out Teesport EIA

PD Ports has appointed Royal Haskoning to carry out an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for its proposed deepsea terminal at Teesport, including the preparation of a construction and engineering report on the brownfield site.

"The role of the EIA is to comprehensively identify and assess potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed terminal development and subsequent dredging, " says PD ports development director Martyn Pellew. "Where appropriate, mitigation measures will be proposed in order to minimise any adverse impacts that are identified.
