Auckland box handling boost

Auckland Port Authority has confirmed that expansion of its new Axis Fergusson terminal would add a further 120,000 teu to its total handling capacity.

A dynamic land reclamation programme will boost the existing 94,000 square metre operating area to one of 350,000 square metres once work is completed.Dredging work will also deepen the access channel to 12.5 metres
