Altamira investment

Terminal Marítima Infraestructura Portuaria Mexicana, situated in the port of Altamira, is to invest $12m in new equipment to include a Liebherr post-panamax mobile harbour crane that can service 18 rows of shipstowed containers.

Additionally, it will acquire a 45-ton Kalmar fork-lift truck (FLT) for heavy container movements and a further two for moving empty containers, while Nissan has received an order for 10 FLTs for use with general cargo.
