COLOMBIANS REVIVE URABÁ PROJECT
01 Apr 2007
Revived interest is being shown in the construction of a new deep water port at Urabá, in Colombia. Spanish consultants Sener are due to produce a viability report within the next six months.
However, any port project would also require major upgrades to the connecting roads network. It has been estimated that Urabá would reduce current handling costs by 35%.
