Concession extension at San Vicente
01 Jul 2007
Chile’s San Vicente port operator SVTI has had its concession extended until 2029.
The operator plans to invest $50m-$90m in expanding the port and acquiring new handling equipment as a means of increasing cargo handling capacity. The actual figure is currently being negotiated.
SVTI, which first began operations in 2000, is owned equally by SAAM and SSA Marine.
