The programme also includes the acquisition of new quayside lift capable of handling super-post-panamax ships. These will complement the recent arrival of three super-post-panamax gantry cranes, which will be added to the existing complement of 24. Also on the shopping list are 12 straddle carriers, 12 rubber-tyred gantries, three reach stackers and assorted forklift trucks.
