Customs extends x-raying hours

Increasing demand has seen the New Zealand Customs Service expand its sea container x-raying service at Ports of Auckland from a five-day to a six-day-aweek operation.
NZ customs now offer container x-raying services at the weekend
Having previously operated on a callout basis only at weekends, the organisation has formalised the addition of a full Saturday to provide “assurance”to the export trade.
The HCV truck x-raying facility is now operating from 0700 hrs to 1500 hrs on Monday to Saturday and will still be available on a call-out basis on Sundays.
