Five bid for Vizinjam

Five consortia have submitted bids for the 30-year concession to build and manage a container terminal at the Indian port of Vizinjam, situated on the country's east coast.

Those involved are KGL Ports International, DS Constructions and Appolo Enterprises; Nagarjuna Construction, Maytase e OPM; Videocon Industries, Gammon India, Gammon Infra and Sical Logistics; Lanco Infratech Ltd, Lanco Power and Pembinaan Redzai; Zoom Developers, Portia Management Service and Peter Fraenkel & Partners.

Investment of $1.35bn will be required overall.
