Green Baltic goals

Electric-powered 'green' cable reel rubber-tyred gantry cranes headed for the Baltic have had their emissions slashed by 95%.
The cable reel RTGs run on mains electricity
In all, 19 of the Konecranes units will be supplied to the National Container Company, most of which are earmarked for Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea.
The units are also equipped with regenerative units, which means that excess electricity can be fed back to the grid.
