Marker lowers light pollution

A new port marker device designed to increase maritime safety and facilitate rendezvous manoeuvres for ships entering the port has been adopted by the Port of Barcelona.
The AB01 marker shows a sequence forming an arch
The AB01 marker, developed by Archbeacon SL, aims to lower coastal light pollution through replacing a sequence of lights for a steady beam.
The light display forms an arch, which in turn points to the position of the outer marker of the port entrance.
