Montreal terminals increase handling power

Building its Canadian presence, crane manufacturer Liebherr has confirmed orders for rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes at two Montreal terminals.

Montreal Gateway Terminals has ordered an additional eight-wheeled unit to go with two recently delivered, and Cerescorp's Termont Terminal, has signed an order for two 16 wheel configuration RTGs.
Both cranes can span six containers: one stacking four high and the other five high.
