Call for Australian state investment

Australia business leaders have called for state and federal governments to invest in ports and distribution hubs.
At the 2020 Summit in Canberra, trucking leader Lindsay Fox called for ports to rely more on intermodal hubs 10 kilometres to 15 kilometres out of Melbourne and Sydney.
Regional distribution centres should be connected to the wharf via rail, he added.
