Return of Newcastle capacity system

The capacity balancing system (CBS) designed to limit vessel arrivals has been re-approved for the port of Newcastle until the end of the year.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said there were still concerns that the CBS would reduce the incentive to find a better long-term solution.
