Liebherr celebrates Russian first

Container terminal NUTEP (a joint venture of NCC and the Delo group) has signed a contract for the first Liebherr postpanamax crane in Russia.

Three Liebherr RTGs will go to the Port of Gdansk, Poland

The crane is scheduled for delivery to Novorossiysk next summer.

Liebherr has also finalised a contract with HPC Ukraina, (a subsidiary company of HPC Hamburg Port Consulting) for the supply of two post-panamax cranes with a lift height under spreader of 34 metres and safe twinlift load of 50 tonnes.This is on top of a recent contract for the supply of three rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes to the Port of Gdansk, Poland at the Deepwater Container Terminal. The RTGs are of a 16 wheel configuration, stack one over four containers high and span seven containers plus a truck lane.
