Over the period of the last five years the Liebherr mobile harbour crane population in Africa has more than doubled, reaching 42 in total. Last year saw Liebherr handing over a record 11 mobile harbour cranes to various African customers, accounting for 13% of the complete sales volume. This represents an 83% increase over the 2006 figure of six units.
