CMA CGM is seeking to build a terminal in the Brazilian port of Belém, a process that it began three years ago on the back of 28% increase in business in the region. APM terminals, which recently acquired a stake in Ceara Terminal Operator - the major stevedoring company in Belém - also wants to create a hub facility in the port.
