Seven of France's nine public ports - Bordeaux, Dunkirk, La Rochelle, Le Havre, Marseille, Nantes-Saint-Nazaire and Rouen - are to be privatised, with investment made available by the state to boost throughput from 3.6m teu/year to 10m teu/year by 2015.
