Manzanillo port disqualifies box bidders

SSA Mexico, Ocupa and the TMM Group have all been disqualified by Manzanillo Port Authority from participating in the tender for the second container terminal at the port. All three failed to meet an agreed deadline.
Manzanillo wittles down terminal contenders
Still in the process are ICTSI, Barcelona Container Terminal and Grupo Mexico.
SSA Mexico, for its part, does not believe that the new terminal is actually viable in the current economic situation.
