Call for Speakers 2009
The 6th Medtrade Conference 2009 is held in association with Port Strategy on the 11 & 12 March 2009 at the San Clemente Palace, Venice, Italy.
A quarter of all global TEU traffic now transits the Med and there are many new ports and terminals springing up all over the region. The Medtrade Conference 2008 addresses the opportunities, threats and challenges which result from this boom in trade.
The conference will look at short sea and coastal shipping, intermodal transport systems, port investment, maritime policy, container trade, maritime safety, logistics solutions and coping with the increase in commercial traffic in regional ports.
Topics for this year's event include the following;
