Holland's vessel tracking services specialist HITT has announced that it intends to axe 25 jobs in its Apeldoorn facility, made up of 15 workers leaving the organisation and the cessation of temporary employment contracts.
HITT is to fit a E1m ($1.3m) vessel traffic system in the Angolese port of Lobito. The installation is to be completed this year.
HITT which develops technology aimed at safety enhancement and traffic flow improvement, has reported undiminished competition in its market.
