The UN Security Council has called for ports in Yemen to remain open to allow commercial and humanitarian imports to reach people in need of them.

Aden Port Authority has begun talks with DP World with a view to cancelling the contract it has for operating the port. The cancellation is to be done amicably, with an international arbitrator to be brought in if the two sides fail to reach an agreement.
