Nuttall on Yarmouth watch
Edmund
Nuttall's current sheet piling projects include those at Great
Yarmouth, where the new outer harbour is under construction, and in the
River Lea, for the Olympic Delivery Authority project.
Nuttall recently completed a major sheet piling job at Rochester Riverside; this regeneration project involved raising the ground level using dredged material, to form the basis for new housing and light industrial, and also features an area of the site which is designed to flood when the river is at high tide.
Arch Henderson on the slip
A recent project undertaken by Aberdeen-based Arch Henderson has been the conversion of a slipway on the River Clyde to an impounded dock, using sheet piles, ground anchors and a removable gate at the low tide level. The dock is used for building warships.
