Gulftainer Co. Ltd. based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, have an exciting opportunity available for a Transport and Logistics Manager for a new joint venture company based in Istanbul, Turkey. The role is expected to include warehousing and controlling the effective flow of cargoes to local and international destinations.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper records of the accounts handled.
  • Active involvement/contribution in developing the business of the company.
  • Co-ordinate the total logistical package from shipper to consignee.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years.
  • The applicant’s experience must include a sound logistical, transport and contract management background.
  • Must possess the ability to work under pressure alongside Turkish nationals in a new and expanding environment.
Other Requirements

  • The ability to speak Turkish and English would be an advantage, but not essential.
