International ship owners and operators of handy size to Panamax vessels, our client is continuingly growing and holds a prominent position with an Asian focus.

This role is responsible for the loading and discharging operations and efficient sea transit of all vessels operated by the company.

Your responsibilities will include: To supervise and perform the commercial operation of the vessel in liaison with the chartering and post fixture team;

Ensure that the vessel is operating within charter party terms and conditions; Ensure that the vessel's have a quick turn around at load and discharge port;

Issue voyage instructions, stem bunker , monitor vessel speed/ consumption and to minimize commercial and operational risks; Work with the master / agent/  charterers on a daily/ regular basis  to ensure that the voyage is executed  in  cost effective way;             Verify  port disbursement / update shipnet/ maintain documents pertaining to operations; plus ensure that the cargo is delivered to the correct party.

Successful candidates will be a Master Mariner of a Foreign Going vessel and have sailed bulk carriers.  Experience ashore in operations of bulk carrier will be an added advantage. You should have strong communications skills and able to interact with people of all levels, as well as external parties. Some travel to other part of Asia is required.
