No bids for second La Plata box terminal

A tender for a second container terminal at the Argentinian port of La Plata attracted no bids.
The port wants this facility in place by 2014, when it will be able to handle 2m teu annually.
The disinterest is said to be result of potential operators eyeing other possibilities in the port of Buenos Aires.
