Chennai rejects Mundra box terminal bid

Chennai Port Trust has rejected the $698m bid by Mundra Port and Economic Zone to develop a new container terminal at the port of Chennai, claiming that the 5% revenue share being offered is too low.
There are no other bidders for the concession.
