Maersk onboard with Gothenburg fuel drive

Building on its green credentials, Maersk Line has become the first container carrier to join the Port of Gothenburg’s Fuel Switch Program.
The Edith Maersk called at the port in January burning low sulphur fuel, a strategy which has now been rolled out for all Maersk ships calling at Gothenburg.
The port hopes the program will reduce sulphur emissions by up to 90% within the port control area.
