Boxrunner answer to moving problem

Konecranes has launched a new straddle carrier to improve the link between container unloading and yard stacking operations.
The Boxrunner was developed from feedback from customers and provides “the industry’s highest lifecycle value in the role it was designed for”, according to the manufacturer.
As part of the design process, Konecranes’ key customers were asked the question, “what are the characteristics of the perfect straddle carrier?” Their answers are said to have “inspired the Boxrunner’s principle performance and ownership characteristics”.
Konecranes lists these as speed, outstanding handling, durability, operator friendliness, low maintenance with long service intervals, and a low total cost of ownership.
