Cavotec secures €7.2m of orders
Cavotec is to supply customers in the US, China, Australia, South Korea and Japan with its ports and maritime technologies after securing €7.2m worth of orders.
The Group will supply alternative maritime power (AMP) systems, marine propulsion slipring systems, cable reels and high voltage cables.

The Group has won four separate orders for its AMP systems, which enable ships in port to switch off their engines and connect to shore-side electrical power supply, therefore reducing emissions.
Cavotec will supply a number of skid-mounted AMP reels for use in Californian ports on different container vessels, scheduled for delivery in September.
It will also supply ship-based, container-housed AMP units and junctions boxes for a customer in South Korea, medium voltage container AMP units for a Chinese shipping line and a low voltage AMP unit for maritime electrical systems integrator in Japan.
In addition, it has received two orders from the Dalian Huarui company for a bulk handling application in Australia, including cable reels, hose reels and hoses for five stacker/reclaimer machines and one ship loader.
