Jan De Nul dredges Tampico..
The Mexican port of Tampico is to spend US$9.56m on dredging the access channel to its previous depth of 35 feet.
Work will be undertaken by Jan De Nul and involves the removal of 2m cu m of sediment which has reduced the available draught to 28-38 feet. The government is meeting 85% of the cost and the port authority the remainder.
