John Bensalhia is a freelance journalist who has contributed to a wide range of magazines and websites for 20 years. Born in London in the UK in 1974, he has had an interest in writing from a young age. After completing an English degree, he went on to gain a diploma in Magazine Journalism in 1999.
In 2010, John took the decision to go freelance, and he has regularly contributed to Port Strategy since then. As well as ports, he has written on a broad selection of subjects, including Italy, Cornwall in the UK, food and drink, technology, sci-fi TV, tractors, music, franchising and much more.
