Caroline Price is Director of Green Ports at Royal HaskoningDHV where she leads a team of specialists in environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. Caroline is a maritime sector expert with policy and operational knowledge from her roles in the European Boating Association and the UK’s Royal Yachting Association (RYA) as well as extensive experience in the delivery of a range of high profile, complex maritime infrastructure projects. Over the course of her career, Caroline has been consistently involved in the development of marine and environmental policy at UK and international level and has extensive experience in applying it in practice. Caroline was an early promoter of sustainable maritime operations through her role in the design, delivery and implementation of the RYA’s environmental initiative, The Green Blue Project. Caroline is passionate about the concept of Green Ports and is actively working to help ports, terminals and shipping to implement changes that inherently improve the sustainability of their operations. Throughout her career Caroline has demonstrated her skills in advocacy, negotiation and the communication of complex topics to a range of stakeholders.
