ICTSI calls for tenders for Gdynia

BCT, Gdynia: $100m expansion

International Container Services Inc (ICTSI) is to press ahead immediately with the $100m expansion plan for its Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) in Gdynia. Formal approval for the two-phase plan was ratified at the beginning of October in the wake of sustained traffic advances at the terminal following ICTSIs takeover in May. ICTSI secured ownership of BCT via one of Polands most successful and hotly contested privatisation initiatives which saw it pay some $42m for BCT.
