Mersey Docks goes to Peel

Mersey Docks and Harbour Company (MDHC) has been sold to Peel Ports for £ 771m. Peel already has port operations in Clydeport and the Manchester Ship Canal, whilst MDHC operates in Sheerness, Chatham, Heynsham, Dublin as well as Liverpool. Both interests have development plans.
