RMS will now have operations in five ports on the Humber and will be able to provide services to clients through handling larger ships with cargoes of up to 30,000 tonnes.

The project would involve an investment of £55m-£110m, depending on who operates the terminal. ABP has recently secured government approval for its £30m-35m riverside container terminal in Hull expected to become operational early 2008.
