With a central system set up in the company’s Durban head office, TPT will implement SPARCS N4 in seven marine terminals and 14 rail terminals by 2010, allowing customers a single point-of-entry irrespective of where they conduct business in South Africa.

Hyster has boosted its Fortens forklift truck range with an 8-9 tonne capacity series. The manufacturer says the H8.0-9.0FT series is well suited to industries such as paper, wood, beverage, metals, ports, automotive or construction materials. With a wheelbase of 2,450mm, the forklift is one of the smallest in its capacity class.
