The company’s International Maritime Dangerous Goods’ Code e-learning course can be downloaded for standalone applications and is also available for corporate intranet for continuous national, regional or global training programs.
Aiming to train shore-side personnel in the understanding and application of the IMO’s IMDG Code, the course is delivered as interactive modules tailored to job functions.
Exis has also released Hazcheck Gateway – a global hazardous materials shipment validation system for transport by sea, which has recently been extended to include both the IMDG Code and 49 CFR databases.
For use by ports, as well as by container shipping lines, ferry operators and logistics companies, it has been designed to check dangerous goods shipments by sea for compliance with IMDG Code and 49CFR provisions with any pre-entered port, operator and vessel restrictions.
The 49 CFR version was developed by Exis in collaboration with Seaboard Marine.
