India to triple capacity within 10 years

India’s shipping minister has announced plans to triple capacity within the next 10 years, stating that ports are vital to sustain Indias economic growth. Capacity will be boosted to 3.2bn tonnes as part of the plan, exact details of which will be issued at the end of September.
