Incident reporting handbook

The Nautical Institute has launched The Mariner’s Role in Collecting Evidence Handbook to help both seafarers and designated persons ashore gather evidence in the event of accidents and incidents, including pollution and spills.

It augments another, larger book published by the Institute by Dr Phil Anderson.

Institute president James Robinson explains “Use of them both will build confidence when gathering evidence to present to those unfamiliar with shipboard operations”. The handbook allows for easy access to principles and checklists.
