Pacific Logistic LLC took delivery of the electrically driven Terex Gottwald Model 3 variant will handle containers at the Sollers Terminal which handles vehicle parts for the Russian automobile manufacturer.
Jan Lind, regional sales manager, Terex Gottwald, said: “This is the very first Model 3 portal harbour crane to be commissioned by a customer. With the crane for Vladistok, we have now opened a new chapter in the success story of the portal harbour crane.”
The fifth generation G HSK 3432 is the twelfth of this type in Russia. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 79 tonnes and a maximum radius of 46m.
It’s fitted with its own on-board diesel generator and is kitted out for connection to an external power supply. Use of external power from the terminal’s electricity supply increases efficiency of the crane while reducing noise emissions in the terminal.
