Recent announcements from Unifeeder include the addition of London Gateway as hub port in the UK; new direct services between Rotterdam and St Peterburg; and calls to the new Swedish terminal at Stockholm Norvik. With over 40 years of experience in delivering excellent transport solutions, Unifeeder is a provider of the biggest and best connected shortsea and feeder network in Europe.

Hans will deliver the Keynote address on Day 1 at Coastlink, where he will focus on the industry challenges and opportunities. He will discuss the new rules and regulations facing the industry and how perceived obstacles can become opportunities with smart thinking. Creating new trade opportunities and developing new solutions enable Unifeeder to become market leaders in shipping and transportation.

To this end, Unifeeder recently announced their collaboration with TradeLens, a logistics platform developed by A.P. Moller – Maersk and IBM, powered by blockchain technology. Unifeeder is currently sharing all tracking data with the platform which provides greater transparency to members of the Maersk Group on all Unifeeder shipments. This is a step towards digitising the shipping industry and creating benefits from improved operational efficiency and the use of intelligent supply chains.

Hans joined Unifeeder in 2014 as Feeder Manager in Rotterdam. He is now the Country Manager for the Netherlands office, where his team co-ordinate the movement of majority of the feeders in the NW European network. Hans has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the shipping industry with a career that includes roles at Maersk and Royal Burger Group.
