Collision Warning

The Kalmar Collision Warning System has been installed on 36 straddle carriers at the Maher Terminal facility in the Port of New York/New Jersey, with confirmation that a further 68 machines are to gain the same system throughout 2024 and 2025. By informing the driver of a potential collision by visual and/or audible alarms, the severity of a potential accident should be avoided or, in the worst case, reduced.
