Indra will be given a five-year contract with the possibility to extend this for a further two years. JUPII not only oversees port operations, but also integrates computer systems operated by the port community, including shipping agents, customs, Maritime authority, health and immigration, as well as the operations of concessionaires.
Indra signs major Portuguese deal
The Spanish company Indra has signed an agreement with the Portuguese ports of Leixões, Lisbon and Sines, which will involve the implementation of the second generation of the Single Port Window (JUPII) management system.
