The new RS45 offers the same components, durability and toughness as any Hyster big truck, as well as intelligent design to deliver lower fuel consumption and longer tyre life.
To optimise effectiveness, the new RS45 also features a powerful Cummins QSL9 Stage IIIA engine in combination with a Spicer off-highway TE-27 transmission, which provides greater control during container stacking. While a two-speed hoist system boosts unloaded lift speeds required for productivity in a container yard.
Additional options are available to ensure ports and other container handling operations can tailor the truck for their particular requirements, including a choice of seats, a variety of drive and steer tyres and different spreader options, among more.
“With the new RS45, Hyster set out to create a reach stacker that would set a standard in low cost of ownership. However, there is no compromise on Hyster’s principles of durability and toughness,” said Rainer Marian, big trucks sales director for Hyster.
