{"id":1233,"date":"2020-11-26T14:57:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-26T14:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/coastlink\/2020\/11\/26\/electric-truck-development-deal\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T15:14:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T14:14:47","slug":"electric-truck-development-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/coastlink\/2020\/11\/26\/electric-truck-development-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Hydrogen\/electric truck development deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The chassis licence agreement with mobility technology company Magna follows the launch of Gaussin\u2019s hydrogen-propelled vehicles for port terminals and logistics hubs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMagna will grant Gaussin an exclusive worldwide license for its modular, ultra-light and versatile chassis for electric (BEV) and hydrogen (FCEV) on-road heavy-duty truck applications,\u201d said the engineering company.<\/p>\n<p>Strengthening GAUSSIN&#8217;s activities in clean mobility, this exclusive agreement covers the development, manufacture, assembly and commercialisation of new chassis for mass-produced electric and\/or hydrogen-powered heavy road vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Gaussin\u2019s APM-H2 is dedicated to moving containers on port terminals and capable of pulling over 75t. The company has also developed the ATM-H2, intended for logistics hubs and with a towing capacity of 38t.
