Hosted by Peel Ports Group \u2013 Port of Liverpool, Coastlink will be held on the <strong>3 &amp; 4 May <\/strong>at<strong> <\/strong>the iconic Royal Liver Building on the world-famous Liverpool waterfront.<\/p>\n<p>The UK Major Ports Group is the trade body for the UK\u2019s major port operators and represents nine of the top ten port operators in UK. 95% of the UK\u2019s physical trade with the world arrives or departs by sea, of which UKMPG\u2019s members collectively handle 75% of the UK\u2019s port volumes through 40 ports.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ukmajorports.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UKMPG<\/a><\/strong> members together invest around \u00a3500 million per year in the UK\u2019s ports and related infrastructure. Ports also hold the key to a more sustainable environmental future. Moving freight by water is up to nine times cleaner in terms of emissions than by road and nearly one hundred times better than by air. Ports are continuing to drive down their emissions through investing in new generations of hybrid and electrical equipment and vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>As a supporting association to Coastlink, UKMPG members benefit from a 10% discount on the delegate rate.
