In 2024 the Conference Programme will continue to promote these aspects and address topics including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emerging Opportunities for Short Sea Shipping \u2013 How is the market adapting to economic &amp; market pressures to sustain future growth<\/li>\n<li>Green corridors \u2013 collaboration to drive sustainable growth<\/li>\n<li>Advancing supply chain resilience &amp; embracing the benefits of modal shift<\/li>\n<li>Smart operations &#8211; What\u2019s next in Digitalisation, Automation, and Innovation to drive efficiency?<\/li>\n<li>Ports as Enablers \u2013 Facilitating the Energy Transition for Shipping &amp; the Supply Chain<\/li>\n<li>Shore Power \u2013 Overcoming the barriers to infrastructure and delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With a strong background in maritime and a long naval operational career as the UK National Hydrographer, Nick Lambert is a master mariner and a committed proponent of the maritime users\u2019 perspective.<\/p>\n<p>He is Co-Founder and Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/nlai.blue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NLA International<\/a> &#8211; a global leader in Blue Economy solutions.
