Marijn and Almar will discuss their key partnership which resulted in the deployment of Kotug\u2019s zero emission E-Pusher\u2122 and E-Barges, the world\u2019s first fully electric pusher boat and barges. The partnership was formed to enable Cargill to transport cocoa beans from the Port of Amsterdam, the largest cocoa import port in the world, to the company\u2019s cocoa factory in Zaandam, the Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n The fully electric pusher boats and barges are expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 190.000 kg per year, the equivalent of 15.000 single trips of the same distance by truck.
